Wheel Bearing Failure on Chevrolet Tahoe?

In this particular case the customer noticed problem in all his wheel bearings one after other.
First the front wheel bearing on right failed,then after few days the left wheel bearing failed and now the rear wheel bearings are making the same noise.
The Vehicle is Chevrolet Tahoe and run only few miles ,that is less then 100 miles.

On that basis the troubleshooting details for the problem is as follows:----

Wheel bearing failure is a somewhat common failure on all vehicles, not just your Tahoe, depending on driving habits and road conditions. Vehicles driven in very bumpy conditions seem to have a higher failure rate of wheel bearings due to additional stress. On  midwest where it seem to have a lot of potholes, especially in the spring, due to the winter and plowing the roads, lot more wheel bearing concerns are noticed in the spring than any other time of year. Wheel bearings can make an awful lot of noise and they seem like they are very loose, but reality is that it would take and extended amount of driving with a very loud growling/grinding noise before a wheel would come off. I would say that most technicians overstate the severity of the concern in an effort to make the sale and also a concern to keep you safe. With that being said, I am not surprised that both front wheel bearings have had to be replaced within a short period of time. The good news is that GM's powertrain warranty covers wheel bearings and likely a repair in the drivetrain if that is the source. Under the terms of that warranty you are also eligible for a rental vehicle if your vehicle requires comprehensive repairs. The powertrain warranty also covers towing/road side assistance as well. As a dealer technician I can tell you that can't foresee the future. By this I mean that we can't always tell you what is going to fail next. These are complex machines, and parts do wear and break. There are some things you can do to help maintain your vehicle remains in good working order, follow all of the manufacturer shceduled maintenance, follow all of the dealer recommended services as well. The dealer may recommend additional maintenance or shorter intervals due to local driving conditions such as heat, cold, dust, rust, etc.Just that preventative maintenance goes a long way in keeping your vehicle in tip top shape. If you don't have a good relationship with your dealer service department try a different dealer. I can assure you that GM has a vested interest in making you feel safe in your vehicle.
