Using 6.0L Engine on 5.3L Engine For Chevy Silverado?

In this case the customer is having 2002 Chevy silverado 5.3L engine. The 5.3L engine is just due to age and mileage.
So in Place of 5.3L engine, the customer needs to use 6.0L engine.

On this description the details for this description is as follows.

Yes the 6.0L engine is a direct bolt in replacement for  5.3L engine. The engine itself is externally identical. All of the accessories will bolt on with no problems. The only thing I am not sure of is if the fuel injectors are the same. The 6.0 may have a higher flow fuel injector, a quick check at the parts department will tell you that. You will have to have the PCM programmed for the larger engine. A GM dealer will not be able to do this for you though, as all of their calibrations are supplied by GM and are VIN specific. GM will not provide a calibration for your vehicle with a 6.0 since it wasn't built that way originally. The good news is that companies like Hypertech, and a whole host of others, can provide you with a programmer that will connect to your DLC connector and you can reprogram the PCM at home. I am sure the truck will run even if PCM is not programmed, but the fuel and timing grids will not be correct for the new larger engine.

This details will help.
Thanks.
