How to replace Proportioning Valve on Kia Sportage?

The details are as follows :----

Removal & Installation

WARNING

Any brake fluid that is removed from the system should be discarded. Never reuse brake fluid. Do not allow any brake fluid to come in contact with a painted surface; it will damage the paint.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Place a cloth under the master cylinder to prevent brake fluid from falling on painted surfaces.
3. At the proportioning valve, disconnect the brake lines from the master cylinder using a line wrench.
4. Remove the rear wheel brake line from the right side of the ABS solenoids using a line wrench.
5. Remove the front wheel brake line from the lower left port of the proportioning valve using a line wrench.
6. Disconnect the wiring harness connector to ABS solenoids.
7. Disconnect the wiring harness connector to proportioning valve.
8. Remove the master cylinder mounting nuts.
9. Remove bracket with the ABS solenoids and proportioning valve attached.
10. Disconnect the proportioning valve from the ABS solenoid bracket.

To install:

1. Attach the proportioning valve and the ABS solenoids to the bracket.
2. Place bracket assembly on vacuum booster studs and install nuts. Tighten nuts to 115 inch lbs. (13 Nm).
   
   NOTE

   To lessen the possibility of damaging the brake line nut threads, loosen the nut at the opposite end of the brake line. This will provide greater flexibility for a proper thread start. Once both ends are properly started, tighten the nuts to specification.
3. Attach rear wheel brake line to right side port of ABS solenoid and tighten the nut to 13 ft. lbs. (18 Nm).
4. Attach front wheel brake line to lower left port of proportioning valve and tighten the nut to 13 ft. lbs. (18 Nm).
5. Attach brake lines to master cylinder and tighten the nut to 13 ft. lbs. (18 Nm).
6. Connect ABS solenoid and proportioning valve wire harness connectors.
7. Refill the master cylinder reservoir.
8. Connect the negative battery cable.
9. Bleed brake system and check for fluid leakage.
