Reset the controller:
Unplug the power cord from the wall.
Wait 15 minutes.
Re-apply power.
Completely cover the infrared (IR) sensor on the unit with aluminum foil to isolate any interference from outside sources -- sunlight, bad fluorescent tubes/ballasts.
If the unit still changes back to DAB radio to MP# to other modes then you will have to get the IR assembly replaced -- at least $100 plus parts.
