That would say the sender is likely at fault or the connection to it from the cluster. The code P0463 indacates the Fuel level sensor Circuit is high.
P0463 - Fuel LevelSensor A Circuit High----- Sets in the PCM when the PCM detects an open or a short to voltage on the fuel pump module signal circuit based on the messaged input received from the instrument cluster. I dont suspect the sender is bad, if the circuit is open from the gauge to the sender it will cause the gauge to read low or not at all. Ohm the wires from the sender to the cluster and if they check ok suspect the gauge is bad. This details will help. Thanks.
