Its quite possible that either the button is got stuck up down or its lost its connection to the internal circuit.
The buttons are fixed on a panel.Under the panel there is a circuit.
When you press the button,the circuit gets connected and that particular function works,.
If the circuit under that button is got dirty or faulty.
Then first cleaning that under button circuit with electric part contact cleaner has to be tried.But if that is not helping,then circuit is getting short for that button and proper repair center tech is required to test the circuit board,on which the button panel is placed.
