Temperature gauge does not move and no heat when heater is ON?

This query was asked by my client, for his Ford Windstar vehicle.
In this case the heater was turned ON,but no heat was actually releasing from heater. Also there is no movement in temperature gauge.

In most cases if the gauge isnt moving to the normal range this usually means the thermostat is stuck open and will not allow the engine temp to run in the normal range because the water is flowing to fast thru the engine. I suggest you to  start with replacing the thermostat and refilling the cooling system.

This details should help you.

Thanks.
