Timing problem can be repaired.
The spout connector has to be disconnected,to set the timing again.
The SPOUT connector is taped to the harness coming from the Ignition module on the Left inner fender.

The spout connector is a small square shaped plastic piece in a little plastic connector. It has some electrical tape around it, and it is pushed into a small hole in the fenderwell. You have to disconnect this to set the timing because it takes the computer out of the loop. If you do not disconnect it you will not get an accurate timing reading because the mark on the balancer will bounce around.
