Car running hot?

There are multiple possibilities for this problems.

The most common and basic possible components that could cause this problem are as follows :----

1)Issue with Radiator - 
Does it run hot at high speeds, low speeds or does not matter? If gets hot at high speeds then the radiator is clogged from the inside, if gets hot at slow speeds that means radiator is clogged from the outside. 
Dirt, paper or leaves may be trapped between the radiator and condensor. (the condensore is infromt of the radiator and is a little smaller.) If it does not matter it may be over 50% clogged.

2)Water pump .Inspect water pump.Is it cracked or leaking or clogged.If any of this is noticed,then car will run hot.

3)Radiator cap. If this is bad, the system will not build pressure and it will blow coolant out while you are diving.

4) Thermostat. The thermostat can be slammed shut. This is usually caused by dirt build up in the system.Get the thermostat cleaned and test.In some rare cases new thermostat comes out bad/faulty.

5) Possible head gasget leak.

6) Cooling fan :If the fan is not turning when the car is hot, theres the problem. it could be bad fan clutch if it is a mechanical fan, fan turns but not fast enough because fan clutch is bad. 

It could be a small leak in the cooling system and your losing the coolant. Check radiator hoses and heater hose for cracks,or holes, make sure radiator cap seals properly. Could be a blown head gasket causing loss of coolant.

Note: If your car is running hot the A/C will not work. Hopefully by solving your overheating problem the A/C will start working again.
