How to replace rear brake pads on 2002 Lincoln continental?

Basically a problem like piston not going up or brakes got functioning properly or brake pads making noise in this cases it has to be replaced.

See below the detailed procedure to replace it.
The air suspension switch is located in the trunk on the left rear quarter panel.The piston needs to be rotated and compressed at the same time, there is a special tool that you can purchase at most major parts stores.

Pads

Special Tool(s)
	Rear Caliper Piston Adjuster T87P-2588-A

Removal

Turn the air suspension switch off.
Raise and support the vehicle; Remove the wheel and tire assembly;
Remove the upper rear brake pin retainer (2N386).

Rotate the rear disc brake caliper (2552) downward, and remove the brake pads.

Compress the rear disc brake piston and adjuster (2B588) into rear disc brake caliper using Rear Caliper Piston Adjuster.

Installation

Install the brake pads.

NOTE: Make sure one of the two slots in the rear brake piston and adjuster face is positioned so it will engage the nib on the pad.
Rotate the rear disc brake caliper upward.

Install the rear brake pin retainer.

Install the rear wheel and tire assemblies; .

Turn the air suspension service switch on.
