where is defrost drain tube located on Kenmore Top Freezer Refrigerator?

Remove the back panel in the freezer compartment. You should see the drain hole in the back but it is probably covered with ice. Remove all ice (you can use a hair dryer, carefully) from the drain pan, use hot water and a turkey baster to clear the drain. ------------ In defrost cycle the water runs from freezer to the drain pan located on top of the compressor.The drain hole is in the freezer section.The inner panel of the freezer needs to be removed or the back of freezer has to be removed.Back of freezer removing is bit hard, but inner of freezer comes out easily.Just few screws and it comes out.------- The defrost drain tube is clogged located in the freezer section behind the freezer back wall. use hair dryer and hot hot water to clear this tube.--
