This model is belt less and has a direct drive motor with a motor control board inside the upright housing.
You could try pushing the reset button to see if has been tripped.
If that is not helping then remove the bottom cover of the nozzle assembly and locate the motor and check the flat thermal overload right next to the motor brushes.
If this does not correct the problem then it could be the motor control board inside of the dust box and motor cover.
If you discover that the motor control pc board is bad then the 11 screws for the dust box will have to be removed to gain access to the pc board.
