Yes a 2005 KLX110 model has a magneto ignition, you have a crank sensor and then your charge coil, this system is a little different from most conventional magneto set ups, it uses a regulator/ rectifier to control the voltage back to the igniter, this is refereed to a DC ignition, I have voltages for your outputs from the stator, If you wanted to measure the voltage coming out of the regular it would be on the black/white wire back the igniter.

Kawasaki makes a peak voltage adapter (57001-1415) if you don't have one then you can just probe the wires with a pin to get your access point.

Primary peak voltage (High tension)

+ meter lead to the black wire

- meter lead to the black/yellow lead (ground)

100 volts

Crankshaft sensor

+ meter lead blue/yellow lead

- meter lead to the engine ground

4.6 volts

Exciter peak voltage

+ meter lead to white lead

- meter lead to engine ground

DC 15 volts
