Faulty evap emissions canister vent solenoid

OBD error code P1450 on Ford vehicle

This code is defined as "P1450 - Unable to Bleed Up Fuel Tank Vacuum."

On this vehicle, this is most commonly caused by a faulty evap emissions canister vent solenoid and/or a clogged vent solenoid hose. Start troubleshooting by removing the vent solenoid hose and checking for any debris inside the hose. Also blow through it to make sure it is not restricted. If the hose is ok and the electrical connector and wiring to the vent solenoid looks ok, I would replace the vent solenoid.
