refrigerator temperature light blinking on GE Profile Refrigerator?

If the LCD screen blinks on your display for your freezer's temperature then the temperature is most likely set too high or cold. Also, there may be an internal problem with the LCD display, and the best way to stop the blinking is to turn of the freezer temperature.

  • Open your freezer door and locate the temperature controls. If the temperature is too warm and food is not being frozen, place your food in another freezer until the freezer starts again.

  • Press the "Warmer" button if the LCD on the controls is blinking. Continue to tap the "Warmer" button until the display reads "Off".

  • Unplug your refrigerator from the AC wall outlet and wait at least five minutes. Plug in the power cable.

  • Press the "Colder" button for the freezer two times. The temperature will turn to 0 degrees, and the light will stop blinking.

  • Allow 24 hours for the freezer to reach the desired temperature. Place your food items back into the freezer.
