The procedure to remove and install oil pan.
The details to replace oil pan for 2.0L engine and 2.4L engine.
Both are provided below.
The procedure is as follows:-----
2.0L Engine
Remove the right-hand engine undercover.
Drain the crankcase oil.
Remove or disconnect the following:
Dipstick
Front exhaust pipe
Stiffener plate from the engine by removing the 2 (manual transmission) or 3 (automatic transmission) bolts.
2 nuts and 17 bolts from the oil pan
Oil pan and discard the gasket
To install:
Clean all gasket surfaces completely.
Apply a thin bead of sealer to the oil pan mounting surfaces.
Install or connect the following:
Oil pan. Tighten the nuts/bolts to 48 inch lbs. (5 Nm).
Stiffener plate. Tighten the bolts to 27 ft. lbs. (37 Nm).
Front exhaust pipe
Fill the engine with oil to the proper level.
Start the engine and check for leaks. Recheck the engine oil level.
Install the right engine cover.
Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the right side engine undercover.
Drain the crankcase oil.
Remove or disconnect the following:

Front exhaust pipe
Stiffener plate from the engine by removing the 2 (manual transaxle) or 3 (automatic transaxle) bolts.

Remove the oil pan bolts, nuts and pan.
Installation is the reverse of removal. Clean the gasket mating surfaces. Always use new gasket material. The new RTV material should be a bead about 4mm in diameter. Parts must be assembled within 5 minutes. Torque the bolts and nuts to 80 inch lbs. (9Nm).
Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.

NOTE
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the negative battery cable before starting any repair work to prevent air bag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

To install:
Clean all gasket surfaces completely.
