On dodge 5.9l the hall effect sensor is located in the distributor.
The hall effect sensor is under cap. so you tak cap off then rotor and the sensor below it is the halleffect sensor. This sensor does control fule delivery, timing and ignsiiton as well. Common failure item on dodge.
