ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS
There are two standard radio assemblies used in vehicle applications. Both radio assemblies have electronic memory for pre-selected station function. The radio assemblies also have integral controls, AM stereo, AM/FM stereo, preset equalization, cassette and speed compensated volume in later models.
These systems also have auto Dolby B and auto equalization (Cr02) wherever applicable.
Both radios consist of a radio assembly mounted in the instrument panel assembly and a radio receiver located in the rear compartment next to the radio power antenna assembly motor.
An electrically operated telescoping antenna assembly is standard. The radio power antenna assembly extends fully when the radio assembly is in use.

removal & installation
Catera
The instrument cluster assembly contains the cluster lens, the speedometer/tachometer gauge module and the voltage/oil pressure gauge module. The electric power is directed to each gauge module via separate dedicated wiring harness connectors and to the appropriate lamps and gauges within each module through flexible printed circuits to each gauge module. While the instrument cluster is serviceable as both a unit and as individual components (each gauge module may be removed from the cluster lens for module or lens replacement) the individual gauge modules are not to be disassembled.
Other instrument clusters are serviced as an assembly.
