2006 Dodge Caravan: Runs Rough, rough idle, hesitation, jerkiness in engine and stalling out?

Its a multiple issue problem.
First thing to inspect is Engine warning light ON dash.
Is the check engine light coming up ON dash or not.
If yes, then scan for error codes.
There are two procedure to scan error codes.
One is by OBD code reader scan tool and other procedure is manually without scan tool.

Luckily on dodge, we can do this without a scan tool.

Within 5 seconds, turn the ignition key on-off-on-off-on, leaving it in the on position(position just before cranking). Now look at your odometer readout. the fault codes will show up as 4 digit numbers preceded by the letter P.
example - P0455.

Once the error codes are retrieved, the problem will be pointed out so further troubleshooting can be carried out.

But if there is no check engine light coming ON,then its rare that there is any error code stored in ECM.

In that case, inspect the idle is drive as well as in park reverse model.
If the idle issue is there in all modes then as per that

the first possibility to be checked is a vacuum leak, restricted vacuum hose, or intake gasket leak.

This is how the system performs:------
When you depress the brakes or have the brakes engaged while at a light, the power assist is used which gets its vacuum from the engine vacuum system.
A leak or restriction in one of the vacuum hose combined with brake applied will reduce engine vacuum enough for rough running, rough idle, hesitation, jerkiness in engine or stalling out.
With AC on, the problem is even more pronounced as there is more load on the engine, which makes correct vacuum more critical.

A bad vacuum hose or intake gasket leak will cause this.
In this case First, the engine vacuum has to be tested with a handheld vacuum gage and then the system is propane tested to find the source of the leak or restriction.

The only other things would be timing being slightly off by a tooth and causing a low idle condition.
But if that's the case then  it would normally set a fault code for the cam sensor and would set the check engine light. Or a burnt valve, which if the vacuum checks out, then an engine compression test should be done to see which cylinder(s) are low on compression to know where the valve issue is. But again, normally this sets a fault code for engine misfire and turns on the check engine light.

This details will help.
Thanks.

2005 Lexus RX330:Engine Warning Light and VSC Lights is ON?

First of all See if the Performance of the Vehicle is fine or not.
What problem you are noticing while starting and while diving the vehicle.

I am Asking this question because, there are many other Lexus Vehicle users Facing this same Issue.

This 2 warning lights the Check engine light and VSC light comes up but the vehicle is driving fine.

NOW if the vehicle runs fine. Then 90% of  time when the check engine light illuminates it is related to in emissions error or malfunction. By default the vehicle skid control(VSC)  light is illuminated to stop that system from working until the problem that set the code in the engine control computer is repaired.
The Codes mostly for Emission system related are P0446 ,P0441 ,P0455.
These codes are in fact emissions related failures. The primary code here is the P0455 code. This means there is a gross leak in the evaporative control system. The most common denominator is usually related to the gas cap being loose. Check the gas cap seal and make sure it's not hard and is still soft so that when you tighten the cap ,You can feel the seal squash just before it clicks and becomes tight. Make sure there is no rust and corrosion where the seal contacts the filler neck. If you want to clear the code you need to remove the negative battery cable to erase the memory in the computer. If the idle seems a bit low you will need to clean the throttle body on this drive by wire system for the idle to re-correct itself. The code will eventually clear itself if the gas cap was in fact where the leak was that. The other two codes are normally set by default whenever there is a gross leak.

If you recently filled the GAS Tank and the GAS CAP is checked ok.
Then the System will automatically get reset.

It takes few drive cycles or trips to reset. But this is dependent on the ambient air temperature and the engine coolant temperature. There has to be differential split any cannot be too cold. There's no set pattern it all depends on the temperature criteria and differentials for it to run the test. I would inspect the filler neck and the seal on the gas cap make sure that as you tighten it down you can feel some squash or resistance before it clicks. If that checks okay and you can clear the code if it continues to come back and you are certain it is not the gas cap you need to do a pressure test on the system see where is leaking from.

This details will help.
Thanks.

2008 Toyota Tundra: 4x4 Wheel Drive Light is Flashing?

4WD light is Flashing. In such cases you will also see the VSc warning light coming ON,And also in some cases ABS light too comes ON.

The common issiue for the four-wheel drive light to be flashing is usually related to tire size difference from front to rear. This can be caused by lack of rotation or lack of four-wheel drive usage on a consistent basis to wear the tires unevenly front to rear. The four-wheel drive light flashes because the system has not met the requirements necessary to engage four-wheel drive. It can be due to binding in the transfer case or in the front differential automatic disconnecting assembly. There have been several issues with the actuator that is bolted to the back of the transfer case sticking and binding due to infrequent use. My recommendation would be to put the vehicle on the lift or get all four wheels off the ground. Meet the requirements necessary to engage four-wheel drive. Once you get the transfer case functioning work the actuator into four-wheel drive and out of four-wheel drive several times to work the mechanisms and the drive motor assembly. Once that is working normally engage four-wheel drive low so that the portion of the actuator gets used and works properly. If you do not use the four-wheel drive low often enough that section of the drive motor in the actuator can bind and freeze due to lack of use. The vehicle skid control (VSC)  light more than likely is coming on by default due to the malfunction before drive system.

The ABS light comes on by default with the vehicle skid control light. If there is a malfunction in the ABS system due to a bad wheel speed sensor this could affect four-wheel drive engaged in operations.

To Retrieve the error codes stored in ABS control module, the procedure is as follows:---

You can use the jumper wire in the DLC connector under the left side instrument panel.
Once the jumper wires installed in be careful that you do not spread the terminals apart otherwise a scan tool not read correctly. Turn the key to the on position and monitor the ABS and VSC lights. They will flash a pattern of flashes. For example a code 31 would flash thrice a slight pause then one flash. If there other codes they will follow. If by jumping this wire you get no reaction then this year does not use that option.

This details will help.
Thanks.

2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid: OBD Codes P3190 and P0AOF?

Mostly in such cases you see dash Warning lights Coming ON.
The warning lights like  "Check VSR System", "Check the Hybrid System"  "Brake" red signal warning light ON, Warning light to  Check ABS etc etc.

As per Error codes details provided in states that ............

The p3190 means there was a loss of power from the engine.
The P0A0F means the HV computer detected an abnormal signal from the engine. There are 4 sub INFO codes that code be set. This code be anything from bad fuel or run out of fuel to an issue with something in the sensor or inputs to make the engine run. If you cycle the key off then restart or READY on and then press the accelerator to the floor to force the engine to start and it does start and run this may be a fuel related issue.

If you have recently changed the Fuel or gt the fuel tank filled, then may be that fuel is dirty or dusty.

Drain the fuel and put some additives in the tank to counter act the bad fuel residue. When ever the master warning light comes on. It shuts the system down. It will not allow another restart attempt until the key or start button is cycled off and on. If you do not do this to attempt another engine start it will run the HV battery down then you are stuck.

To cycle off the key or start button,Simply Put your foot on the brake and push the start button then push the accelerator. If it will not ready on and the engine does not start then the car will need towed.

But if in case the Battery is Down, then Please Note that HV battery needs to be recharged. The voltage is 12 volts.Dont use another normal battery, this model only uses HV batteries and not the normal batteries.

The Hv battery shuts down to protect from an over drain but you need to get the fuel cleaned out and get the engine started again to recharge the HV battery.

Dirty fuel many a times gets stuck at spark plugs or at fuel injection rails.

You need to pull the spark plugs and see if there contaminated and disconnect the fuel injection rail clean the residual fuel out of the lines by activating the fuel pump and flushing good fuel through the lines up to the rail.

Hit the start button to attempt a start and this will turn the pump on. Just make sure the raw fuel is captured safely at the line to the injector rail.

This details will help.
Thanks.

2008 Toyota Highlander: ABS warning light Blinking and OBD Error codes Coming?

In this cases you will see ON dash warning lights blinking or Coming ON steady.
The abs light, brake light and the triangle light with a danger sign.

And You get C Series Error codes when scanned.
C1203, C1210, C1336, C1345, C11368, C1392.

The Scan has to be done by Toyota Scan Tool,to get proper and complete list of error codes.

This normally means there is a problem in the ABS system. Typically the weakest link is the Wheel speed sensors.

This codes all point to an issue with the calibration and initialization of the YAW rate sensor and the linear solenoids in the abs/vsc actuator. To reset this take a scan tool and allot of patience. If it will not re initialize then you are looking at a problem with the Actuator itself.

Actuator is the device that controls the ABS and VSC functions to apply the necessary hydraulic pressures to the 4 wheels.
It is called a brake actuator. And the Retail price of Actuator is $2450.

To Calibrate Actuator you will need Toyota Scan tool.It cannot be done by Normal Aftermarket Scan Tools.

To Calibrate the Actuator try the ZERO point Calibration procedure.
If the Calibration is not getting completed and same error codes are coming up again n again then its faulty Actuator.

C1345/66 Error Code indicates
Linear Solenoid Valve Offset Learning Undone
The system ie the linear solenoid needs to be reinitialized by Toyota Scan tool.

This details will help.
This Repair needs proper professional Knowledge and Preferred scan tool.
Otherwise has to be done by Professionals or at dealership.

Thanks.
