Chrysler Lights Flickering inside and outside
Problems Noticed On The Chrysler Vehicle :
2003 Chrysler 300m. Began displaying flickering interior lights- odometer, gear selector, gauges, occasionally the reading lamps as well and all exterior lights.
The flickering occurs regardless of whether the headlight switch is no or off. I never have it on autolamp.
Also sometimes while starting the car, open the door and relays started clicking in the fuse box, tried starting it and no power at all.
Got warning lights, and very dim odometer and gear indicator lights.
Mechanic opened the hood, tapped the positive jump terminal and it started up, but was idling rough as is usual after and electrical problem.

Reasons For Lights Flickering in and out of vehicle:
The flickering can be caused by a couple things:1) There were problems with voltage bleed-over in the headlamp switch connector and a service bulletin was issued for applying dielectric grease to the connector to prevent it.
2) The other possible cause is the headlamp switch itself. By far the most common cause of this problem is an internal headlamp switch failure causing it to send erratic signals. If dielectric grease in the connector is not helping then I suggest replacing the switch and it should take care of your problem.
As per my vehicle repair experience this was a common enough issue on these cars that I wouldn't hesitate to replace the switch.
Also Go through this other possibilities :
On the basis of charging related details which is mentioned its very much possible that there is a poor connection at the positive jump start terminal.
Vehicles Charging System Working basic theory:
As charging voltage leaves the alternator it passes through the jump start terminal and then goes down to the battery. If full charging voltage isn't making it to the battery then it will cause the lights to flicker. The alternator output is constantly going up and down and the battery has to act as sort of an accumulator to smooth out the highs and lows of the charging system output. Voltage drop anywhere between the alternator and battery will cause what you are seeing.As its noticed connection issue at the jump start post i suggest to start by repairing that and making sure connections at the battery are ok .
Best solution is to attach a large gauge jumper wire between the alternator output stud and the battery to see if that helps, if it does then you know you have a connection or cable problem in between.
So inspecting the charging system connection and Headlight switch will help you to solve this flickering issue on your Chrysler vehicle.
