Chrysler New Yorker Fifth Avenue Stalls while warm up
91 Chrysler new yorker runs great except for THE SECOND MILE! The first mile is great. Then during the second mile of driving it misses and stall. After going that SECOND MILE, it again runs great.

What's The Reason For Such Problem To Occur?
What you're describing is almost surely being caused by a bad upstream oxygen sensor.
When you start the engine it operates in open loop mode. Fuel control relies on the coolant and ambient temperatures along with software.
As the engine starts to warm then it will go into closed loop mode. This is when the upstream oxygen sensor comes into play and it's signal is used by the engine controller to determine how rich or lean the engine is running and it adjusts fuel injection accordingly.
Where Is The Heater Located?
The sensor has an internal heater that comes on as soon as the engine is started. The heater brings the sensor up to temperature faster and keeps it there. When the sensor is cold it's signal voltage will be around 5v, as the heater warms the sensor up this voltage bleeds off until it's in the normal 0-1v range.
Is It Weak Sensor?
What happens on these is the heater will become weak. As the engine transitions from open to closed loop it starts to look at the upstream sensor for fuel control, with a weak heater the sensor won't be up to temperature yet so it's signal voltage will be too high. It will see this high voltage and think the engine is running too rich so it takes fuel away, giving the hesitation you are feeling, sometimes it will even cause dying or backfiring.
What Should I Replace?
I would recommend replacing the upstream oxygen sensor which will be in the rear exhaust manifold. After replacing the sensor disconnect the battery to clear the learned fuel adaptive reconnect it and you should find your problem is gone.
This details Will help.
Thanks.
