2004 Dodge Ram: High Beam Light is DIM?

The Low Beam started working after replacing Driver's side Front control module.But the High Beam Light is Dim.

This problems are very much noticed when High beam bulbs are weak or faulty or if the connectors are loose or not connected properly.


There are  three wires connected to the back of the connector that plugs into the back of the bulb.

If you disconnect the bulb, then look at each metal terminals on the face of the connector that plugs into the bulb, the one in the middle is oriented a little higher that the ones on the left or right.


The one on the far left is white with a green stripe.
The on in the middle is a white with a blue stripe. -low beam
The one on the right black with a light blue or grey stripe.

I suggest you to recheck the connections.

Here is the connector pinout. Sounds like you have 2 reversed.
