2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser: OBD Error Code P0111?

Check Engine light Scan test Error code P0111.

The P0111 OBD Error code pointing to a fault in the Inlet Air Temp Sensor (IAT).
This Pump and its connections needs to be checked/ inspected.
Carefully inspect the electrical connector for any loose or broken wires. Inspect the air duct for any cracks, holes or loose/missing connections. If the visual inspection checks ok, replacing the IAT should solve the problem.

2004 Kia Sorento: Two IAT Sensor wires?

The MAF( Mass Air Flow) Sensor Connector has 5 wires.Out of that 5 wires 2 wires are for IAT( Intake Air Temperature) Sensor.

The 5 Wires are
White,Green,Brown,Read and Yellow.

In this 5 wires the two wires on the MAF/IAT sensor for the IAT sensor are white for IAT sensor power and brown for ground.

2004 Toyota Corolla: MAF/ IAT Sensor wires?

MAF Sensor Connector plug has 5 wires.out of that 5 wires two wires are for IAT Sensor.

MAF means Mass Air Flow Sensor.

IAT means Intake Air Temperature Sensor.

On 2004 Toyota Corolla,the 5 wire color code are Brown,Yellow with Black tracer,Green,Black/while and Black.

Now out of this 5 wires, The yellow wire with a black tracer is the intake air temperature sensor signal to the engine control computer. The wire next to it the Brown wire is the ground reference wire for the intake air temperature sensor.
The other three wires are for the mass airflow and the battery feed for the sensor.
