how to take apart passenger side sliding door trim panel on Chrysler Town n Country

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

Remove sliding door upper frame molding.
If removing the left sliding door trim panel, remove screw from inside ash receiver bezel.
Remove screw from pull cup.
Disengage push-in fasteners holding trim to door panel around perimeter and upper edge of door .
Remove sliding door trim panel from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
Place sliding door trim panel in position on vehicle.
Align locating pins on backside of trim panel to mating holes in the inner door panel.
Engage push-in fasteners to hold trim to door panel around perimeter and upper edge of door.
Install pull cup screw.
If necessary, install screw from inside ash receiver bezel on left sliding door trim panel.
Install sliding door upper frame molding.----------------

SLIDING DOOR LOCK MOTOR

REMOVAL
Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
Remove sliding door trim panel.
Remove sound pad as necessary.
Remove latch/lock control cover.
Remove latch/lock control.
Sliding Door Lock Motor
Remove screws holding door lock motor to latch/lock control.
Remove lock motor from control.

INSTALLATION
Position the lock motor on the latch/lock.
Install the screws retaining the motor to the latch/lock.
Install the latch/lock control.
Install the latch/lock control cover.
Install the sound pad and trim panel to the sliding door.

REMOVAL

  1. Remove sliding door upper frame molding.

Sliding Door Trim Panel

  1. Disengage clips holding trim to door panel around perimeter of door.
  2. Separate sliding door trim panel from vehicle.

INSTALLATION

  1. Place sliding door trim panel in position on vehicle.
  2. Engage clips to hold trim to door panel around perimeter of door.
  3. Install sliding door upper frame molding.
