Designed for fast removal of any Terrova, PowerDrive, V2, or PowerDrive bow-mount trolling motor, Minn Kota's Electric Steer Quick Release Bracket offers a cam-lock design. Features include ultra-tight tolerances that eliminate bracket movement and noise while upper and lower plates include slot for securing with a padlock (not included). This bracket includes a composite cover that attaches to lower half of bracket when motor is removed, keeping the deck profile clean. The locking lever includes a pin and lanyard.

This is a great product and is easy to install. Four holes need to be drilled through the bow to mount the base. Not much science here! The tolerances are intentionally tight to eliminate bracket movement and noise. I purchased this product because I want to be able to remove my motor and I didn't want it jerking around and making noise while I am fishing. It amazes me how many people will rate a product without even trying it. I have used it for an entire season and it works.

If I currently have a trolling motor with the AutoPilot feature, can I install the i-Pilot system?
Yes, however the AutoPilot will need to be uninstalled from your trolling motor before you install i-Pilot. i-Pilot includes all of the functionality of AutoPilot.

What trolling motors are the i-Pilot accessory compatible with?
We offer i-Pilot accessories that are compatible with the following trolling motor models: Terrova, PowerDrive V2, Riptide ST, Riptide SP.

I also read somewhere that there is now an upgraded cordless footpedal model that works with either co-Pilot and/or i-Pilot [ not sure ] but it replaces the corded foot pedals. Wondered why I have seen a few corded foot pedals on eBay of late, people must be updating to the cordless no doubt.

No surprise either that the price of these top of the range trolling motors complete with latest i-Pilot features in the states, is about the equivalent or lower than the basic models.


i-Pilot installs simply: just replace the top of the motor head, activate your remote and you’re ready to fish.
